Meet the Candy Magicians...

They live in our midst, right here in America, the land of plenty...and yet, they are different from you and me...

They are hopeless and need your help...

Look at the picture of them...  Look at how they are forced to exist...that is, when they are lucky enough to get out of the cardboard box they call "home" the rest of the time.

Imagine what it is like to be one of them...Candy...Magical...and alone...alone together, that is, against the world, trapped in a life of cardboard and candy wrappers and broken toys, dreading the inevitable disaster at the paws of a six-toed cat which could pounce at any time...

No, wait, you don't have to imagine--let us show you their plight...but be warned, it may be difficult, you may want to look away...it may tear at your heart strings...but just remember, you can look away... but they must live this harsh candy reality...

Let's Meet some of the hopeless Candy Magicians...

This is little Candy David...he lives in glass boxes, blocks of ice, and is forced to stand on poles just to survive...

And Candy Criss...dangerous wood chippers and meat hooks are his only toys...see how his hand reaches out for your help...

Little Jonathan and Charlotte, two against the world, living grimly without hope, forced to escape again and again to survive...how could anyone not feel moved by their story...

And here is little Candy Teller with his sweet smile...he cannot speak, and yet there is no money to consult a language specialist...and he is exposed to bigger candy boys teaching him their tricks and swindles...

Candy Dai and Candy Channing were once two bright promising candy babies, but they are sadly now caught up in the snare of playing cards, unable to stop fooling people...forced to rely on their wits and cunning in order to live...

So sad but true...meet Candy Talma and Candy Servais...young and in love, with only the few coins in Candy Talma's hand keeping them from total disaster...

Poor Candy Jean Eugene...he is over forty and unlikely to ever be saved from this difficult situation, without your help...

Little Candy Laffy and his pet puppy Candy Beauty...poor little Candy Beauty has no legs--really!--and must be pushed around on this broken baby carriage...how they struggle!

Brave Candy Thursty obviously is sightless...so sad...luckily he cannot see the bleakness of his situation...but he can still feel the desperation...

Little Candy Adelaide plays all day in this harsh environment...with a broken toy carriage, and no doll to love, crying for just one Barbie for her birthday, if only someone knew--or cared--when that was...

Little Candy Marvyn knows only crumpled candy wrappers as playthings...and a toy carriage he has to share with all the other Candy Magicians...

Little Candy Dante once had big dreams...now he would settle for just a hat to put on his head to keep the rain from dissolving him...

Little Candy Roy and Candy Siegfried...far from home...barely able to speak the local language to ask for help...

Little Candy Doug knows no better than to be happy, for he knows no other life...the kind he could have for pennies a day with help from someone like you...

Brave Candy Lance lost a hand in a tragic accident and awaits a replacement...not knowing it is probably hopeless without your help...of only pennies a day...

For hungry little Candy Paul, candy fishbones are a feast better than his Thanksgiving and Christmas combined...

This is sweet Candy Chung...he can search in the garbage can, but he won't find any candy to put on that plate...

Little Candy Kellar practices magic tricks with empty liquor bottles, dreaming of a real set of Tipsy Turvy Bottles...

More tragic than most...Harry and Harry, father and son...two generations living this difficult life together, wondering if they will ever escape it with your help of only pennies a day...

This is little Candy David...see how his pants don't fit him, and he has to hold them up...with help from you costing only pennies a day, he might be nice and fat...

Candy Jeff struggles to keep warm at night under a tossed away bubble gum wrapper, dreaming of a warm bed...

Little Candy Mandrake...without a friend like you who might give him mere pennies a day ...must cuddle a stray alley cat for comfort...

Poor little Candy Rory and Candy Stan and Candy Murphy the Wonderdog smile bravely, but they are forced to shield themselves from monsoons with nothing but scraps of candy wrappers and paper sacks...  They dream of writing, but an education is not available to them...so they can only write two words...Pleez...and Help...

Little Candy Mark must compete with alley cats for a comfortable place to rest...and the alley cats usually win...

And lastly meet brave little Candy Harry...forced to take shelter from the harsh elements under a shabby, makeshift lean-to...

If only these poor, unlucky Candy Magicians had a friend like you, their lives could be completely changed...for only pennies a day!  Don't you want to see what an amazing difference a few pennies a day can make in a Candy Magician's Life?  And find out how you could be the one to make that difference by sponsoring one hopeless, desperate Candy Magician yourself--for only pennies a day?
