Meet The Candy Galloping Gourmet!

The Galloping Gourmet, Graham Kerr, is a British TV Chef and cookbook author who starred as the lighthearted, wine loving star of a swinging cooking show in the 1960's and other later shows.  According to my thrillingly unreliable sources at Wikipedia, he was once called The Most Dangerous Man in America by the Heart and Stroke Foundation because of his high fat, high calorie recipes.  Personally I think running onto the set and jumping over a chair every episode ought to have qualified him for the title, but some people are so hard to please he was left with no choice but to pour on the clarified butter until he won the title.  He has since lightened up his cooking fare to be more health conscious, so now while he cooks he juggles flaming torches while dangling upside down over sharp spikes in order to maintain his Most Dangerous title.  Okay, I made that last part up!  I hope I didn't give him any ideas!
